We were attracted first by the church's appearance and size--we wanted to be married there; then we fell in love with the congregation.  It's a family to us.  When we considered moving to be closer to work, we chose to stay in Mendham partly because we didn't want to leave this church!

I came at first because of the former pastor, but stay primarily because of the current one.  His messages are always thought-provoking and inspiring.  But the church as a whole is also terrific.  The music, friendly people, vibrant Sunday School and Youth Group programs and special services all make for a very meaningful spiritual experience.   Retired - 14 years

I'm here because BCC is welcoming and inclusive.  I am expected to bring my head as well as my heart to worship.  I find intellectual stimulation in the sermons and adult education.  I enjoy, once a week, having an hour to think about more important things than my daily preoccupations yet I'm always encouraged that my preoccupations are important and relevant too.  I never feel talked down to and I frequently feel challenged. Our family has found a congenial and supportive group of friends we wouldn't know without BCC and find that much of our social life is through the church.  I also find the mission work to be meaningful and significant--I feel that we as a church and I as an individual are able to make a difference.

We were attracted by the church's Congregational roots, small size and location.  We keep coming because of the superb pastor, sense of outreach to the community and beyond, a lovely active congregation of all ages, thriving Sunday school.  It's a committed, dedicated group of active people, and we're very fortunate to have such a place here in the Mendhams.
