Parents, Families & Friends of Lesbians & Gays (PFLAG) celebrates diversity and envisions a society that embraces everyone, including those of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities. A national organization with over 200,000 members and over 500 affiliates, PFLAG promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered persons, as well as their families and friends.
| Many know first hand how essential PFLAG is in bringing support to families struggling with the news that a loved one is LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, or Transgendered). As a primarily heterosexual organization, PFLAG is uniquely positioned to provide a place where parents, siblings and friends of gay people can deal with their stresses and fears, learn from knowledgeable & accepting families, and ultimately build stronger, closer relationships with their gay loved ones.
