Worship

At Brookside Community Church you will find a congregation from diverse religious backgrounds worshiping together; services integrating old and new traditions; sermons relating scripture to everyday life; inspiring music; a Christian values-oriented church school; all in the picturesque Brookside section of Mendham Township.  Special services are held throughout the year.  At Christmas and Easter, dramatic services of words and music, light and dark, evoke the wonder of each season.

On Sundays we are fed by the challenging and inspirational preaching of our senior minister, Craig Anderson, and fine music ranging from traditional to contemporary under the direction of well-known composer and musician, David Sampson. Craig's sermons relate scripture to everyday life and encourage us to reach out to society with care and compassion.

Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month; our table is open to all.

Children join the adults each Sunday for the first 15 minutes of Worship. After a Children's Message they are dismissed to Church School.

Worship, child care, and Church School are at 9:30 a.m. with coffee and juice afterwards.
