@ Brookside . . . Week of February 12th

FIELD TRIP! Brookside has reserved a block of tickets for Saturday February 25th at 2pm.Reserve your tickets here: https://brooksidecc.breezechms.com/form/39fcb38

The music of Godspell will be incorporated into our weekly worship during Lent. For those unfamiliar with the show, it invites the showrunners to set the story of Matthew’s gospel in modern day. As the original play is over 50 years old, this show is based on the 2012 update. We’ll watch the movie (which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and features flower children and clowns) later this season.

February 22nd will include an observance of Ash Wednesday.

On March 1st, Pastor Nicolette will plan and lead the service. We need volunteers from Brookside to:
1. Make Soup (we need 3 kinds, at least 1 vegetarian, to serve ~30 people)
2. Serve Soup (4 people)
3. Clean Up (4 people)

Brookside 5Rhythms: A 6 Week Embodied Movement Series with Sayrah Garrison

Every Sunday January 22 - February 26 1:00-2:30PM at Brookside Church

This past Sunday, we had a surprise visitor as we explored Chaos. A knight in shining armor helped us fully surrender into the moment and let go of the stories that no longer serve us. What a deep dive into the mystery of life!

The series continues THIS COMING SUNDAY, February 19, from 1-2:30PM in Scialla Hall with an exploration of Lyrical, the Rhythm of Divine Expression & Lightness of Being. This Rhythm encourages us to offer up the purest essence of who we are. To share our deepest gifts and talents to ourselves and the world!

Drop-ins okay and all are welcomed to join us! Stay after class for herbal tea, healthy snacks and community connection!
