Music at Brookside Church

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir is a mix of 12-16 singers who dedicate themselves to serving through the music ministry at Brookside Church. From September to May, this ensemble supports singing of service music and hymns, as well as providing seasonally appropriate anthems and special music. During the summer months, soloists and small groups share their gifts.

We rehearse Sunday mornings (sometimes there are mid-week rehearsals for special occasions) and newcomers are always welcome to join.

Children's Music

Music provides a great avenue for worship and praise for children as well as opportunities for religious education and musical enrichment. The Children's Music Program has been an integral part of the spiritual formation of our children, however during Covid the program was put on hold and has yet to resume. Currently, musical opportunities for children include playing the prelude at worship, singing for special events, and enjoying our selection of child-friendly musical instruments.
