In this session, we begin a micro-series on mindfulness practices. Mindfulness is the witnessing of one’s thoughts and emotions with equanimity. In the Christian East, this practice is known as nepsis, or watchfulness. Mindfulness has been shown to decrease stress, improve mood and improve neuroplasticity. You can watch or listen to our interview with Christian mindfulness coach, and psychologist Irene Kraegel on our blog.

Classes are on 1st and 3rd Wednesday, 6:45 pm to 7:45 pm. Brookside Church, 8 East Main Street Mendham

In our Hearts, In our Prayers:

The prayers shared aloud on Sunday morning*

Those who grieve.

Those impacted by sickness - colds, flus, stomach viruses, and Covid are running through our communities.

Those impacted by gun violence

Those who feel broken in body, mind, or spirit

Those who are anticipating an upcoming surgery

Those in times of discernment and change

Our leaders, our communities, our nation
